What Can Chapter Medicare Help Me With?
We can provide a free consultation related to finding the best Medicare plan for your lifestyle and needs. Each consultation first starts with your Chapter Medicare Expert asking you questions about your preferred doctors, the medications you take, and your priorities. Based on that information, your Expert will walk you through the Medicare decisions you’ll need to make, and help you compare plans from every insurance company to recommend the best plan for you.
How Much Does This Service Cost?
Our partnership with Chapter Medicare offers free consultations to IAM union members (and their loved ones) only, through their Legal & Personal Protection Plan.
The Medicare Expert may talk to you about Medicare plans that have hidden fees. Original Medicare (Parts A & B) covers up to 80% of costs for healthcare services, meaning you are required to cover the remaining 20% with no maximum. Original Medicare also does not cover prescription drugs, dental, or vision, and many people choose to pay for Medicare Supplement plans (also known as Medigap), Medicare Advantage plans, or prescription plans (known as Part D).
There is no obligation to enroll for Medicare when meeting with an Expert.
What is Medicare?
Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people age 65 or older, as well as certain younger people with disabilities. It is administered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Medicare helps pay for a variety of health care services, including hospital stays, doctor’s visits, prescription drugs, and preventive care.
