What You’ll Learn and Prepare for

The path toward becoming a U.S. citizen means gaining knowledge and understanding of basic facts about American culture and society, including:

  • The court system
  • The responsibilities of a U.S. citizen
  • How the American government works
  • U.S. history
  • The Constitution
  • The different branches of government
  • How laws are made

Taking a citizenship class offers you a chance to gain this knowledge from an experienced instructor in a step-by-step process that will also prepare you for the necessary tests and interviews required to complete the citizenship process.
