Most Common Roadside Emergencies

The first step in working to prevent a roadside emergency is understanding what the most common possible occurrences are, and then you can figure ways to avoid them:

  1. Flat tire – Utilize a tire gauge to frequently inspect your tires for the appropriate inflation number. When doing this, you can also check your tires for any cuts or bulges.
  2. Out of fuel – The only real way to avoid this roadside emergency is to pay close attention to your fuel gauge, and refill your tank as soon as you notice you are running low.
  3. Locked out – Always carry a spare car key with you, specifically on your person.
  4. Dead battery – Inspect your batteries regularly for loose, corroded, dirty, or even broken cables. Replacement of your car’s battery at its expected age limit can also prevent them from dying sparratically.
  5. Engine overheating – Replacing your car battery can be a proper solution for this issue. If you are taking a long drive, prevent your engine from overheating by taking short breaks along the ride.
